By accessing and using DigiCrumbs, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

DigiCrumbs is a travel photo sharing platform that allows users to create password-protected travel pages, upload photos, pin locations on maps, and share their journeys with friends and family.

3. User Accounts and Age Requirements

DigiCrumbs allows you to use the service without creating an account. You can create pages, add locations, and upload photos freely. However, to share your page with others, you must register with an email and password.

If you choose to register, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years of age, or have parental/guardian consent if under 13
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Not share your account with others
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children's use of DigiCrumbs and ensuring content shared is appropriate.

4. User Content

You are responsible for the content you upload:

  • You retain ownership of your photos and content
  • You grant us a license to store, display, and share your content as needed to provide the service
  • You must not upload content that is illegal, offensive, or infringes on others' rights
  • You must have the right to share all photos you upload
  • Content must be appropriate for all ages (4+) as this is a family-friendly platform
  • You are responsible for backing up your content

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Upload content that is sexually explicit, violent, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate for a 4+ rated platform
  • Upload malicious code or viruses
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Scrape or collect data from the platform without permission
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

6. Service Pricing and In-App Purchases

DigiCrumbs offers both free and premium features:

Free Features

  • Create and customize your travel page
  • Add up to 2 locations on your map
  • Upload up to 2 photos per location
  • View your journey on an interactive map
  • Add captions and dates to your memories

Premium Upgrade (One-Time In-App Purchase)

To unlock the full DigiCrumbs experience, a one-time in-app purchase is required. This includes:

  • Unlimited locations on your travel map
  • Unlimited photos per location
  • Ability to share your page with friends and family via access codes
  • Optional registration to secure your page and enable sharing

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The premium upgrade is a one-time purchase with no recurring fees or subscriptions.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of DigiCrumbs is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We take data protection seriously and implement appropriate security measures to protect your information.

8. Intellectual Property

The DigiCrumbs platform, including its design, code, and branding, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer any part of our service without permission.

9. Account Deletion and Termination

If you have registered an account, you may delete it at any time by selecting "Delete Account" from the menu. This will permanently delete:

  • Your account and login credentials
  • Your travel page and all associated data
  • All photos, locations, and captions you've uploaded
  • All notification subscriptions and session data

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or engage in conduct that we deem harmful to our service or other users.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

DigiCrumbs is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not responsible for loss of data or content. You should maintain your own backups of important photos.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DigiCrumbs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
