• Provide and maintain our free service
• Allow you to create and manage your travel pages
• Send you important updates about your account (if registered)
• Send optional push notifications when new locations are added to pages you follow (with your permission)
• Improve and optimize our platform

We do not use your data for tracking, advertising, or cross-app analytics. Your data is used solely for providing the core travel sharing functionality.

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Photos and content are stored on secure cloud servers (Vercel Blob Storage). Database information is stored with Supabase using encrypted connections. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with:

• Service providers who help us operate our platform (Supabase for database, Vercel for hosting and storage, Appilix for iOS app)
• People you explicitly share your travel pages with via access codes
• Law enforcement when required by law

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data by editing your page information
• Request deletion of your data - you can delete your account and all associated data at any time by clicking "Delete Account" in the menu
• Export your data
• Withdraw consent at any time

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyze how you use our platform. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

8. Children's Privacy and Parental Consent

DigiCrumbs is rated 4+ and suitable for all ages. However, we require users creating accounts to be at least 13 years of age, or have parental consent if under 13.

Parents and guardians are responsible for monitoring their children's use of the service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you are under 13, please have a parent or guardian create and manage the account.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information promptly. Parents may contact us to review, delete, or stop further collection of their child's information.

9. Service Pricing and In-App Purchases

DigiCrumbs offers free features with optional premium upgrades via a one-time in-app purchase:

• Free features: Create pages, add up to 2 locations, upload up to 2 photos per location
• Premium upgrade (one-time purchase): Unlimited locations, unlimited photos, and ability to share pages with others

When you make an in-app purchase, payment is processed through Apple's App Store using your Apple ID. We do not store or have access to your payment card details. Purchase information is handled securely by Apple according to their privacy policy.

10. Account Registration

Account registration is optional and only required if you want to share your page with others. You can create and manage travel pages without an account.

When you register, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password. Registration helps you secure your page and enables sharing features.

11. Push Notifications

If you grant permission, we may send push notifications to inform you when new locations are added to travel pages you're following. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings. We do not use push notifications for marketing or advertising purposes.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
